Virginia, Illinois and Georgia First States Targeted for Phased Implementation

Walmart to sell eCW Electronic Health Records (EHR)

According to the NY Times, soon you'll be able to go to a local Sam's Club and purchase a package that includes eClinicalWorks and Dell computers for about $25,000.00 for the first doctor.
Annual support would be between $4000.00 and $6000.00.

I guess the Stimulus Package and a positive experience with the software in the Redi-Clinics has gotten Walmart to look at EHR distribution as a new product/service with a lot of potential.

I look forward to see if Walmart will now start promoting the DOSSIA PHR as well.

How many of you expect this announcement before year's end:

Rediclinic + Walmart medical customers + DOSSIA + eEHX = Community Health Information Exchange (HIE)?

We are planning an exciting agenda filled with presentations, trainings, and interactive discussions on a variety of topics, including: Best Practices in Coding & Documentation, Advance Your Usage of the EMR Training, Keys to a Successful eCW Implementation, specialty focus groups, and much more.
